Episode 14: “Call Me Cupid”

Episode Recap:

Oscar is telling Kat about someone named Nicole that he wants to set Max up with. Kat suggests they go on a double date.

It’s the double date. Nicole and Max seem to have great chemistry. Kat is clearly getting jealous and juts in throughout the conversation.

Carter comes over to Randi’s. Randi has called him over because she can overhear her new neighbors arguing from her bedroom wall and wants him to share the experience.

Carter is at Randi’s again. This time Phil and Sheila are there as well to listen to the neighbor drama. Carter doesn’t seem thrilled that they’re there.

Kat comes over to the bar to find Nicole hanging out with Max. The piano is open and Max tells Nicole to play something since she’s a children’s piano teacher. Nicole starts playing really well and invites Max to join for a duet. They start playing piano and singing together. Kat is getting very jealous and comes on stage as well. She trips and falls.

Kat is stress eating. Randi asks what’s wrong. Kat says she doesn’t think Nicole is good for Max. Randi calls her out for being jealous but Kat refuses to accept it.

Randi, Sheila, and Phil are in the bedroom eavesdropping with some wine. Carter arrives and asks to chat with Randi 1:1. They go to a separate room where he tells her that he wants more quality time. She brings up that Carter invites Max over during their couple time as well. Finally, Carter tells Randi that he misses her. Randi asks why he didn’t just say that, and he admits that he should have. Randi agrees they should spend more time together, and they make up.

Max is cleaning up the bar while Kat hangs around. She tells Max that Nicole is great, and Max thanks her for setting them up. AND THEN - Kat is about to leave but turns around and KISSES Max, and he kisses back. She quickly runs off. Drama.

Kat comes back to the cafe and Sheila and Phil are sitting on the couch. They say Kat is acting weird and she rushes upstairs. End Episode.
