Episode 15: “Call Me Tiny Boo-Boo”

Episode Recap:

Kat is at the cafe with Randi and Phil. She tells them that she kissed Max. She says it was really confusing. Oscar walks in with really big news - he’s been promoted. He’s excited to start being able to plan for his future with Kat.

Max walks in and asks if he and Kat can talk. Max tells her it’s ok, this is exactly what happened when Oscar first came into the picture. Kat clearly still has feelings for Max.

Kat is talking to Phil and Randi again. She’s thinking about breaking up with Oscar. It’s hard for her to imagine a future with him.

Max is about to go on a nice date with Nicole and as he’s putting his jacket on he accidentally punches her in the face. She has a really bloody nose and needs to go to the hospital.

Kat is seated on a couch with Oscar, her plan is to break up with him but he brings up that 2 weeks from now will be their 1 year anniversary. He says it's been the best year of his life. He tells her nice things and they start kissing. She decides to dump him the next day instead.

Nicole is in a hospital room. Max has brought some flowers and chicken soup as a makeshift date. They kiss and Nicole has some soup, but it turns out it’s mushroom soup which she’s allergic to and her throat begins to close up.

Oscar has invited everyone for drinks to celebrate his promotion. He gets on stage towards the end of the night and recites a cat-pun-filled poem he wrote for Kat. At the end of the poem, Oscar proposes. Kat reluctantly says yes.

Max and Kat are sitting outside after the party. Max says that whatever she is feeling, she needs to do what is best for her.

Oscar comes out to check on Kat. Max goes inside, and Kat tells Oscar that she thinks they should break up. Oscar is in shock and asks if this has to do with Max. When she doesn’t have an answer, Oscar walks back into the bar, grabs his coat, punches Max in the face and leaves.

Randi, Sheila, and Phil console Kat. End of episode!
