Episode Recap:
Oscar comes over to Kat’s to drop off a bag of her stuff. Kat asks if they can talk but Oscar is not in the mood to talk and leaves quickly.
Kat is singing “Hello” by Lionel Richie, and Max, Phil, Sheila, and Randi walk upstairs to check on her. Randi tells Kat it’s time for her to get back on her feet and get out of the house. Everybody is busy that evening so Kat decides to take herself out to dinner.
Kat is alone at dinner, and there are couples all around her. The sandwich shop guy Nick shows up after picking up takeout and takes a seat.
Randi gets home and Carter is at her apartment. It turns out he got a key from Max, and Randi is not thrilled.
Nick and Kat are talking at dinner and end up sleeping together at Kat’s place.
Sheila, Max, Phil, Randi, and Kat are at the cafe. Nick walks down the stairs after finally waking up so the whole crew now knows what happened.
Carter is at Randi’s apartment again, and she tells him he can’t just come over without her knowing.
Kat goes to Nick’s restaurant to let him know that it was just a one-time thing, only to hook up with him again.
Randi asks Carter if he wants to hang out that night since she hasn’t seen him in a couple days. He thinks they should take a step back in their relationship since it already feels that way with how slowly they’re moving.
Nick comes to the cafe to let Kat know he has purchased the building that the Kat Cafe leases.
Randi gives Carter a key after all, telling him that he was right and she wants their relationship to keep growing. End episode.
